Biomethane / bioCNG
By processing biodegradable waste that would otherwise end up in landfill, we produce green natural gas, or biomethane, which has the same properties as fossil natural gas.
With the trend of today, we are emphasizing the production of bioenergy fuel CNG by converting from bio-waste. Production takes place in a biotechnologically advanced plant with powerful bioreactors.
The biomethane produced can be distributed via natural gas networks or pumped into CNG cars as bio CNG.
Biomethane from waste is a second-generation biofuel in accordance with the EU RED II Directive (Renewable Energy Directive for the period after 2020).
Certified organic fertiliser
The organic fertilizer we produce at the Energetické centru Horní Suchá plant consists exclusively of natural, fermented raw materials and microorganisms that are essential for the soil and at the same time provide it with important nutrients.
Our organic fertilizer:
- Promotes and improves the creditworthiness of the soil
- It restores to the soil what plants and mineral fertilisers have taken out of it
- It is environmentally sustainable
- Supports natural soil processes
- Protects against erosion
- Contains higher nutrient content
You know that...
- Biodegradable waste contains a huge amount of usable energy
- From 2021, municipalities are obliged to separate biodegradable kitchen waste
- More than 25% of biodegradable waste is still found in mixed municipal waste, the so-called black bins, and ends up in landfill without any use.
- In the Czech Republic, up to 2,000,000 tonnes of biodegradable waste is produced annually, which, if properly used, could supply more than 100,000 households per year
and this has led us to the construction of the Horní Suchá Energy Centre, which brings concrete solutions:
For citizens
Every individual in the 21st century should understand and do his or her part to preserve the sustainable development of society. Careful sorting of household waste is the easiest way to start. In addition, if you work with Organic technology, you will contribute to energy self-sufficiency and the promotion of healthy agricultural production. Simply use the brown containers for gastro waste and, if they are not yet available near your home, contact your local council or our company directly. We believe in a strong alliance between Organic Technology and the municipal sector in a common cause.
For municipalities and cities
EC is the final ecological processor of biodegradable municipal waste (BRKO). By processing BRKO at the plant, the legal obligation to ensure and guarantee the ecological processing of municipal waste is fulfilled. Each municipality is a welcome partner of Organic technology through its technical services and contracted waste management companies. We are able to provide advice and methodology for sorting, collecting and processing waste, which the municipality can easily transfer to the citizens and organisations in its area by means of communication.
